The Adobe Trail begins from Hwy 166, 22 miles East of Hwy 101 on the North side of the road, and ascends up and out of the Cuyama River. GPS coordinates of the trailhead are:   35° 5.060'N  120° 8.716'W

I took the photos below in January 2008. For most this will be an out-and-back hike, but there is a way to connect to Cable Corral Rd (FS Rt 30S02) and come out at Rock Front Ranch for a much longer hike.
